One of the things, I remember really feeling when I first became a leader was how alone I felt. I had great people around me but I was afraid to ask questions, for fear they thought I didn’t know what I was doing. But, I was wrong to not tap into my mentor’s expertise or to build a community around me. Once I realized this and started to build that community around me and keep them in my leader world, everything changed. I went from burnt out and feeling alone and overwhelmed, to rejuvenated, more clear on my vision, and part of a community who wanted to inspire. So many leaders express how hard their job is and how tired and overwhelmed they feel. I work with leaders around the world and once I start to open their minds to the power of community, they shift from overwhelmed, tired, and burnt out, to rejuvenated, impactful, and inspired. When asked, how they made the shift, they have all said, it was because they had a community to learn from, inspire, and grow. And so, I want to do this very thing for you.

Here’s what I would love to do… eventually….I dream of hosting a weekend workshop/getaway where we can get together to mastermind our visions and make them happen. Of course, there would also be some fellowship, team building, and more. We see businesses around the world doing this, yet, as educators, we don’t seem to think we need this….well, I am here to tell you…we do! We need each other. We do important and really hard work.

I have had a lot of success as an administrator, am a course creator, a speaker, a director of curriculum, and now a membership creator. I have helped over 100 administrators (and counting) around the world get out of burnout and find a healthier, more fulfilled, leadership life that enhances success of students and teachers.
