This is Me

I am a girl. I am a mama of three strong girls who are my mentors. I am a wife to a husband who has unending faith in me. I am a hustler and hard on myself, but I am getting better at that. I am a Vice Principal and I am honored to work with the hardest working, most dedicated professionals I have ever met. I learn from them every moment. My students teach me every day and I am blessed to be a part of their story. I am full of Faith. Faith in God, Faith in whomever our world chooses to believe in, Faith in humanity, Faith in love and peace, and Faith in jumping feet first into the endless abyss of “what ifs” and conquering them anyway. My story has been unfolding for years and I feel it’s time to let it out, even if I miss…

I would love to connect with anyone who is interested in what I am writing about. I love to learn and my biggest teachers are the humans I connect with, above any book I have ever read. My blog is about getting people to go beyond the educational curriculum to explore and break down the walls of their mind and classroom through educating, modeling, and inspiring healthy habits to help them to show up every day wanting to be exactly where they are. Like a pebble in a pond, it starts small, but will expand into the entire lake to build a super school culture, happier people, and students who have tools to go out and impact the world in their own unique way.

I am putting it all out there because as I said earlier, I have Faith and I am jumping all in to my valley of “what ifs.” My hope is to continue to build this blog, network with people to build an army of happy people, and to write a book.
